Tonight I stopped to stare up at the stars. Something I haven’t done in quite some time. Life tends to get in the way, there are many distractions, but none so beautiful as the night sky. I know you were looking too, up at the twinkling lights that keep an ever watchful eye over our lives. I wish that it was the same sky as when I was a child, so full of stars that the sky almost seemed lit up, not near so bright as the sun, but billions of tiny stars trying their hardest to make the darkness disappear none the less. I wish I lived someplace where I could see them all again. But at least tonight there were many, and I could feel you in them.
